Vinification: The maturation in oak casks takes place in two phases. The young wine is kept in small oak casks for 12 months, after which a uniform blend is made. The wine is subsequently matured in one large cask for 8 months, after which it is filled and matured in bottle for further 8 months in the cellars of the Barthenau manour house before release. Vinification: Matured for one year in small oak casks, after which a homogeneous blend is made and the wine matured for a further six months in traditional oak barrels followed by 12 months in bottle before release.
Wine Description:
Dark ruby red.
Opens up in glass to reveal its authentic, noble Pinot Nero origin. Reminiscent of sour cherry and raspberry is enhanced by a delicate hint of vanilla and spice.
Excellent harmony with elegant acidity, well-integrated sweet tannins and enormous concentraion of aromas.
Wine Description:
Deep ruby garnet red.
Typical aroma of small berry fruits and black cherry - mellow, sweet and inviting.
Warm, harmonious and well-knit, round and rich in complexities, firm though elegant, broad and velvety, enveloping with grace and refinement of a truly international wine which will become even more impressive after a futher 1 to 2 years in bottle.

Vinification: 75% of the bunches are de-stemmed, while the remaining 25% are placed whole in the fermentation vats. Fermentation together with the skins lasts 10 days. Vinification: The grapes are lightly pressed and the must is clarified using natural sedimentation, after which it is fermented at a constant temperature of 20C.

Bright ruby colour with garnet reflexes.
Fresh, stimulating bouquet with seductive hints of woodland berries and cherry.
Harmonious, sappy and mellow with impressive fruit.
Wine Description:
Bright straw yellow.
Attractive aroma of citrus fruits, peach, honeydew melon.
Medium rich, fruity, well-structured and direct on the palate with orchard fruit flavours and tangy, fruity acidity on the finish. A classic and very expressive Pinot Grigio.

Vinification: Grapes are immediately destemmed upon delivery and macerate on the skins for 8 hours before gently pressed. The must is clarified through natural sedimentation and fermented at a controlled temperature. Vinification: The grapes are gently pressed on delivery, the juice is cleared by natural sedimentation, after which fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature.
Wine Description:
Fresh, pale yellow and subtle green-yellow highlights
The inviting bouquet initially reveals notes of gooseberry paired with a touch of currant followed by nuances of elderflower, nettles and flint.
Refreshing impression due to a crisp, elegant, appetizing acidity that is superbly integrated. The extraordinary freshness that characterizes this wine continues the entire length of the mouth. Well balanced and firmly structured, this wine impresses with notes of minerals and clearly defined varietal aromas on the finish.
Wine Description:
Bright, vivid pale yellow in colour with green reflexes.
The aromas are clear-cut, reminiscent of freshly picked apples, lemon grass, with a light hint of vanilla. In the glass, it develops intense floral and nutty aromas.
Vivacious, fresh with crisp, tingling acidity. The interplay between accentuate fruit and flowery aromas follws through and strongly characterises the wine. Harmonious and well-structured in flavour, minerally with excellent length.
KOLBENHOF GEWURZTRAMINER 2014

Vinification: After fermentation it is matured together with the fine lees for eight months, during which period the lees are stirred up once a week (battonage). Vinification: The grapes are crushed gently and carefully; the juice is left to clear by natural sedimentation, after which fermentation takes in small oak casks. The wine subsequently aged in small casks for 12 months and then 6 months in bottle before release.
Wine Description:
Deep golden yellow with green reflexes.
Reminiscent of ripe apricot and peach intermingled with exotic fruits such as lychee, mango and passion fruit.
The fruit characteristics follow through on the palate; full-bodied, luscious but dry, the opulence cut by vibrant, firm acidity finishing elegant, dry and aromatic.
Wine Description:
Golden in colour
An intense and concentrated aroma is released as soon as the wine is poured, reminscent of exotic fruits such as mango, papaya with a hint of pineapple and lychee.
Follows through on the palate; opulent, ambrosial with mouth-cleansing acidity to balance the luscious sweetness melting into a monumental finish.
